三綱 (삼강, Three bonds)

1. 君爲臣綱 (군위신강)
   • The bond of loyalty between ruler and subject
2. 父爲子綱 (부위자강)
   • The bond of filial piety between parent and child
3. 夫爲婦綱 (부위부강)
   • The bond of fidelity between husband and wife

五倫 (오륜, Five relationships)

1. 父子有親 (부자유친)
   • Affection between parents and children
2. 君臣有義 (군신유의)
   • Righteousness between ruler and subjects
3. 夫婦有別 (부부유별)
   • Proper roles and distinction between husband and wife
4. 長幼有序 (장유유서)
   • Proper order between elder and younger siblings
5. 朋友有信 (붕우유신)
   • Trust and loyalty between friends
