Running Steam on CentOS 7 with NVIDIA driver

After hours of trying to figure out, the main culprit seems to be the confusing folder structure on CentOS for Steam, especially the libGL.so.1 file.

Go to /usr/lib folder.

Mine had libGL.so.1 as a symlink to libGL.so.1.2.0.

I deleted it and then symlinked it to libGLX_nvidia.so.396.18, and bingo!
